Mizrahi Tefahot Bank

Mizrahi Tefahot Bank is one of the leading Israeli-based banks in the world. In common with all companies in the banking and financial sector they are faced with a large and increasing amount of customer-related documentation, including data produced by their mainframe-based back-office banking software.

They need to be able to quickly access both customer documents such as statements and financial data such as daily and weekly banking reports.

The diverse source of this data (back-office, reporting systems, letters received, desktop documents, emails, statements) meant that different reports had to be accessed from different systems.

Diraq Document Management was able to take in and automatically index all this data from various sources.

'Diraq's ability to store and index documents from different sources, together with their ability to interface to our back-office banking software means that we can now offer our users a single source for customer and banking information' - Ian Lewis - IT Manager.

Create Real Estate

Create Real Estate are a property management company who own and/or maintain properties in and around London. They have large amounts of diverse documentation relating to each property including invoices, faxes, emails, insurance documentation, letters, Word Documents, Excel spreadsheets etc. They needed to be able to store, retrieve and process these documents throughout the organisation quickly and easily.

Diraq Document Management offered them the ideal solution to this challenge. The browser-based system allows rapid deployment without having to install any client software. User-defined indexing offered the ability to index documents on any required field. Storage of documents in the SQL Server database facilitates simple backup and offsite storage.

The Watched Directory system meant that they could use their existing multi-function devices without having to purchase additional scanners and the Email Archiving module ensues that all Emails can be archived without manual intervention.

'The problem we were facing was the tracking of all the different types of documentation we were receiving and the ability to share them between the different members of staff. Processing these documents was inhibited by the fact that we had to track them, trace them, and find out where the document was. This system has enabled us to store documents in one places, enabled access to anybody in the organisation that needs to see them and allowed us to process them much quicker' - Lionel Roodyn - IT Manager

CMS Commercial Microsystems

CMS Commercial Microsystems are a scanning bureau based in West London. They scan documents and microfiche for customers and - in common with many suppliers in the scanning industry - sent the scanned images back to the customer on CD.

Various customers required the ability to quickly search across their entire backlog of scanned documents for particular items, to do this from various physical sites, to add additional documents (especially photographs), add notes to documents, scan for particular text, quickly email and/or print the documents.

The traditional CD-based solution meant that not all of these requirements could be satisfied.

Diraq Document Management offered CMS the ideal solution to this challenge. The documents are scanned and uploaded into Diraq's web-hosted Document Management System. The browser-based system allows users across various sites easy access to the data with no client software to install. Easy-to-use indexing combined with full-text search enables fast searching and retrieval.

'By utilising Diraq Document Management we can offer our customers a complete seamless service - from document pick-up through to a complete sophisticated web-based Document Management Solution. Diraq's flexible and positive attitude to all aspects of software provision has enabled us to gain significant competitive advantage ' - Mike Lawlor - Managing Director
